I think it’s the out going coaches responsibility to get all his stuff saved ASAP. Whether it be Hudl or off the computers. Like I know Tish will have a new coach and when he gets here he will hit the ground running. I fully expect him to delete me off Hudl immediately and restrict what I’m privy too. It isn’t personal, he’s just doing his job. I have had time to get my stuff. I also am not leaving him anything but a schedule and old roster. Computers will be cleaned out.

This is why any playlists I have I transfer to my Google Drive so if something unfortunate happens I will be okay. Gotta think ahead

I understand you don't think it is personal, but I do! I didn't think with me being the only administrator and with having a decent relationship with the new guy, that he would call HUDL to get added on, and immediately delete me. We had texted within 5 days of this happening as I texted him congratulating him on the job and letting him know if he needed anything, I would be happy to help in any way I could. I was in the process of transferring them over. Just thought I would have a little more time and common courtesy than that. I can guarantee this, it WON'T happen again. Did you guys know if you just change the former coach from administrator to player, you can restrict his access to just the seasons he was there without him losing all his playlists and without compromising anything in the future? It is the difference in clicking 1 button that deletes everything, or a different button that saves everything. If we would all follow this policy, I think it would save some headaches. Just a thought.

I don’t want to be left on the Hudl of any school I’m not at. Not as an admin, coach, or player...

This is JV to what colleges do. You get erased from everything before you even know you are gone. Click of a button no hudl no email no recruiting no compliance no inventory nothing. Happens faster than you know. Some guys it happens during season. HFC and AD’s also

Common courtesy is a dying thing. Sorry brotha.

If they are pokey, i have put things neatly in a box for them, and have basically asked how long they need. Communication is a lost art form. And we all get it. It sucks and might be awkward, but when we are fired, they are rarely gonna never have another team after you. We all know there will be a next guy, so just talk to the guy that is on the way out. "Don't be a Dik" is a pretty good rule. I brake it regularly, but its a good rule.

When i resigned a few years ago, I moved all my stuff off Hudl that weekend. I then erased everything off Hudl, because fack that school (had nothing to do with the new guy). In my opinion, once you are no longer the man in charge, get your stuff off Hudl immediately or take the risk of losing it.

Today, I sent the my replacement (not anyone on this site) a Hudl request that made him an Administrator. Then deleted myself. It was easy.
