I am getting really good at dealing with this, but thought I would ask you guys opinion about this. When I got axed from Altus, the new coach came in and immediately asked if I would add him onto HUDL and the next day, he deleted me off there. This erased any special playlists that I made that I didn't share, didn't allow me access to my film from the last three years, and stopped me from sending out film on a couple of seniors that were flirting with going to play football up in the KCAC in Kansas. I still never got everything I needed.
So fast forward 4 years and I am out at Dibble. I am the only administrator on our HUDL and I was in the process of getting some training playlist for my split back veer offense. I guess the new guy rather than asking me to add him on and whether I was finished with my account, calls HUDL and is added as an administrator and deletes me again. I lost 100s of hours of filters and playlists. The most upsetting thing is I texted the guy after he was hired last week to wish him luck, congratulate him, and let him know if he had any questions to feel free to ask as I would help in any way I could.
He has since added me back on, but those playlist are gone forever. He now wants me to call him after not giving me the courtesy of a call before he robbed me of all that film. Is this a common practice? If so, it needs to change. When I got the Dibble job, I communicated with outgoing coach to see what film he needed and then I offered to change his status to a player so that he would still have access to only the seasons he was here. I guess I am just wanting your opinion on it and to raise awareness of what the common practice is and what it should be. Thoughts?
