16 to state for y'all. Interesting.
Texas State meet is finals only in everything. Held over a 2 day period for 6 divisions.

I wish they would prelim the 4X400. the phuck for? reason i ask is because i've got one girl who is on the 4x100, 100, and 200. all three of those have prelims and finals. if they did prelims on 4x400 that would add 400 more meters onto her. brutal. she already has to run 7 times at regionals on saturday.

I get that, and had a kid the same way last year. But running conditions in Cherokee up by Kansas might be very windy and mine might be perfect in Alex. Bad times based on different regional conditions will be and are negated by prelims at state. Has to be a fair way to do this.

Hard to find 2 weekends in a row this time of a year without tornadoes in either.

Uil I think would like to run prelims and finals. Would be tough. But can be done. I’ve seem preliminary and finals schedules with 1. 2 classes a day run prelims in morning finals at night field events all day. Or 2 combo of classes prelims and field with finals last. One is better option imho. Lotta new faces at uil. 1. No FB people. 2. No track people. Can’t run on Thursday next 2 years because of state testing. I also think they would like to expand wheelchair events but time would make it tough. And any rain delay would be crippling. ways to qualify proposed. Top 2 each region and next 10 best. Top 4 each region plus next best 2. Regional champ plus next best 14. All have been discussed at least by people who have been there Probably not there now. Positive part. I did 1 last year. Did 12 this year 3000 in bank. AMOYNATGL enjoy.

Well have two offers on the table at two solid places. It's a good problem to have. One title is better then the other but would have to relocate which would be tough on the wife. The other is a long commute and a slight pay cut but another solid place. First world problems.
