Very offensive to special needs people special needs people would probably be better at offense.

0-3 to start... Played 3 tough teams. Two of which we had the lead in the 4th quarter. Have to learn how to finish and be consistent offensively. Defense is getting better each week. Offense has to do their part. Can turn the ball over 3 times in the second half with a 21 point lead, leaving them a short field each time.
Have to get a lot better.

Starting out rough. Lost the first one by a Point in OT. Should have won that game. Last 2 we were down 14-7 at the half and lost them in the 2nd half. Starting 5 Sophomores on offense. We are young but we must grow up quick. Have a whole new defense as well (5 sophomores). Very young. But the future is really bright.

We couldn't do diddly poo offensively. We couldn't run the ball. We didn't try to run the ball. We couldn't complete a pass. We couldn't make a first down. We suck.

We suck. sounds like studs time in cleburne.....we'd be down by 50 to start the fourth and we're still trying to throw it....so the other team would keep throwing it....would plss us d guys off to no end.... we played midway one year, their average starting field position the first half was the plus 32.5 yard line....we gave up like 4 first downs and were down by 42 at the half...... sounds like one of my nights in Corsicana

2-1. Offense is special, defense is special ed. We have scored 131 in 3 weeks and given up 135. We have the #5 qb in the state statistically (in all classifications), and better skill kids than just about anyone. Our defense doesn't stop anyone... all you have to do is line up in trips and it's check mate. TRIPS. sounds like your DC sux

bro I'd hire you at this point. that's how desperate I am. So what is your base, and how have you been lining up to trips? Might be able to get a few ideas here. Just saying. It might be scheme, it might be personnel. But we might be able to help. We run a 3-4, and we do several things. one is we go strong lock. We man #2 receiver with SS, play palms on by reading #3, and play corner over TE. Then we can still jam the TE with our Sam and our rover can pull under #1 if pass, or can vice down to run. We do all that and can also just bring our Corner down and jam the tight end and man up, with our sam playing a little wider outside the TE to turn everything in. Just saying.

Man, here's the issue... I really appreciate you offering to help here, but when our problem is NOT COVERING #3 FOR A WHOLE HALF OF FOOTBALL EVEN THOUGH WE TOLD THE DC IT WAS HAPPENING, there's not much that can be done short of firing the guy, which should happen, but I'm not the hc. I've already drawn up solutions for him several times, but he can't coach them. Guys, you'd be amazed at what our defensive scheme is. Ever tried to use 3/4 rules in a 4/2/5??? I'll wait. man up 3 or 1 and play 2 on the rest. Not playing one leads to the HC bellowing about idiots.
