Won a close one against a very physical team Friday night. Got beat week 1 by last years 2A runner up, that was beat by a team we spanked in our first scrimmage. Week 2, my d line played very undisciplined, and it cost us the game I feel. I put it on me and my group. Played hard, not smart.

Dip, you just accepted blame for a loss. That's a non-liberal ideal. I knew you weren't really liberal. Good form

This season has the makings of 0-10. Injuries to key guys has been a contributing factor but even with them I think we would still struggling. We played week 3 with our 4th qb. We don't have a 4th qb, didn't really have a 3rd string qb til we needed him week 2.

We are young and making young mistakes. Working hard to fix those things.

We are young and making young mistakes. Working hard to fix those things. Us as well. Sr TE is only returning starter in same position up front. Moved one returning starting 11th guard to other TE, and moved a Sr. Tackle to that guard spot. Have a first year on the field Sr at one tackle, a freshman at his guard, soph center, and soph tackle other side. Sr tackle is maybe worst olineman I have starting, but is getting better.

Our kid we thought was going to be the fb coming into 2 a days went to big boy jail right before school started. Shifted skill kids around to fill the hole, then people started getting hurt, shift around again. Change offensive scheme to fit what we've got. Rinse and repeat weekly.

On a positive note for the future, we have a lot of sophomores getting experience.

I started the year thinking we may be ok this year.....now I'm just hoping we manage to get better for district and can fight for a playoff spot. We have some athletic ability but make up for it with youth and retardation. All that said I think we can still pull off some good things in district but we are going to have to be much simpler than I had ever hoped.

Going into district we got a wake-up we needed in the form of a 6 OT loss. Yes I said 6 OT game. We need to win our district and get a good draw to make some kinda run. We are nicked up like everyone but pretty healthy as physical as we play
