Lets be honest the Rivera is not in Texas... But in reality its like New Mexico... Not much Texas to it... Like when one goes to East Texas, looks like Arkansas... Just like El Paso being southern NM....

Just shows the diversity that this great state holds, I would not expect an outsider to understand. You are forgiven.

Or the RGV is very Mexico. Agreed hoss. Huge difference in each part. You are a southerner in East Texas, a Tejano South of San Antonio, and a Westerner West of I 35. It really shows when you are having a conversation and you got a guy from Amarillo and from Paris. The dialects are uncanny.

Just like El Paso being southern NM.... Texas actually extended up into Wyoming, but because of our generous nature, we allowed the formation of what you know as the current borders and shapes of Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming. You are welcome.
