I would take a or b. C would not make me happy but I'd live with it. D....well D is one that I never knew was an option but apparently is for some.

I have no illusion it would be easy but if I'm the one making the decision than I'm the one that should be telling them. The guy would know it was coming too. Because before it reached the point to do that I would have told them how they're messing up and how I want it fixed.

If you are going to fire or demote a guy be man enough to do it face to face and try to keep it dignified if possible.

Heard one happened on Twitter yesterday. Maybe this is the one you're referring. Sometimes people are put in leadership roles before they are ready. Some will NEVER be ready. Sounds like this is the case for the Twitter situation. To be fair, the current coach wasn't fired on Twitter, only read that his position was offered and accepted by someone else. WOW

WOW I will say point blank this pisses me off because the man is a friend of mine and a dam good coach. KD, your DC and I had a long talk about this last night. Some of us are lucky to work for good solid people.

WOW That's why I worded this the way I did...how would you want to find out? I would not want other around the state and beyond to know I'd been replaced before I knew. Furthermore if I'm ever in charge and have to tell a guy he's being demoted or fired I don't want him or her to hear from someone else first. As to the first part of your statement I completely agree.

Nothing worse than working for people that you don't trust. The last two bosses I've had are awesome coaches and leaders.

Haha. No.
But have the guts before you start looking to say. "Hey, We are going to be looking around for other candidates for your position".

Loyalty is a huge thing, and this day in age it seems like people forget loyalty.
