Even if Bradford is released or benched next season, he is still set to earn $22 million guaranteed.

Considering he has thrown for over 3,500 yards 3 times in 5 years, and was having good years when he got hurt I would say no. Especially considering he has not had a ton of help in either place. The Eagles could not run the ball, and the receivers were atrocious. I agree with KW, Sam is far from done. Also considering the eagles lead the league in drops, the Rams wr and oline were like a pee wee team blocking pros, it's a wonder Sam is not permentally injured.

1. Sam Bradford, Saint Louis Rams: $76 million Drafted in 2010 by Saint Louis, Bradford signed the last rookie deal of its kind. Not only did he become the highest-paid rookie ever, but the extremity of his contract likely had a strong effect on the collective bargaining agreement a year later. However, Bradford hasn’t lived up the expectations set forth upon his arrival. www.cheatsheet.com/sports/10-biggest-nfl-rookie-contracts-in-history.html/?a=viewall

Sounds like to me a front office issue. If I was Sam I would have taken it also!

They wouldn't give him that deal if there wasn't something there. Very few people are given those deals, let alone twice. If he can stay healthy, he has a huge upside.

I'd say the same if he was from Tejas University. They had a pretty good QB not too long ago. He had a pretty good deal going for him.

The entire Eagle organization has been a joke since Lurie became the owner. Started with hiring Rich Kotite and dismantling the best defense in football, getting rid of Keith Jackson and Randall Cunningham. Had some decent years with McNabb, but overall that franchise is its own worse enemy. I hope Sam goes to Denver or Dallas and kicks the Eagles tails.

Jeff Diamond is the former president of the Titans and the former vice president/general manager of the Vikings. He was selected NFL Executive of the Year in 1998. Diamond is currently a business and sports consultant who also does broadcast and online media work. He is the former chairman and CEO of The Ingram Group.
Has there ever been a player in any sport paid more for doing less than Bradford, including his huge Rams rookie contract of $78 million? Yet he feels disrespected by the Eagles.
Bradford should be thanking his lucky stars that the Eagles re-signed him on that deal, and he should focus on playing well enough to keep the incoming No. 2 pick (along with Daniel) on the bench. Then Bradford can set himself up for his next lucrative NFL stop with the next foolish team, which will wind up with another case of buyer's remorse.

Wouldn't u if you sign a huge deal basically guaranteeing u the starting spot then they give Daniels a 6.5 million a year type deal and now supposedly are going to draft a Qb with the 2 pick? He's been a good soldier and had never said anything about anybody or anything till now, I think he has every right to be pissed. Obviously he wants to start , if he was just about he money he would just sit there like a Texas turd on a log. h3ll he probably will give half the money back to get traded to Denver!
