Lets say I would lose my job... Because I would be kicking some wholesale arse. But then again, I wouldnt let it escalate to that point.

I saw that last night. Made me sick and pissed. If I was a student in that class the kid would have been on the floor, if I was a teacher in that class the kid would have been on the floor. Not worth it putting up with that stuff. Felt so bad for the lady.

It's amazing what kind of composure this teacher had! This must be a regular occurrence!

Yeah... No doubt.
Here is my opinion, education should be a right. But when kids act like that. They need to be gone especally HS kids. If a kid ditches school, obviously they do not want to be there. Why not kick them out and say you blew it.

It used to be like that until there was this little thing typed up called "the no child left behind act!"

this appears to me to be a inner city school with a class where it dumps its dumb kids in one class and says "go"... seen it before. it's a minor miracle that incidents aren't popping up daily from situations like this.

Been harder and harder to get rid of bad students and bad teachers. Both would require admin having a spine.

we're in a transition phase here right now. supe retired in october, got an interim supe and the APs are going wild booting kids out the door. actually been kind of pleasant around here without all the riff-raff.
