So who do u play?? That's what I'm not understanding. The 2 biggest go D1? What does that mean? Do they play each other and the winner is the state champ and all the others play games in the playoffs?? Only 2a and A will use this plan I would be for this in all classes If there was 48 plus in each class And 3a , my bad

I don't care what classes it's for, I'm asking a question so i can understand it.
So, if I'm the biggest enrollment school entering the playoffs, I will play the #2 biggest regardless of our records, correct?

No biggest in your district , will play a "2" seed , that actually could be a 3 or 4 from their overall district finish

For Us Hands it is the same. No split in 4A or 5A based on the proposal I posted. For 3 and down There would be a small bracket and a Large bracket.

There are only 1 and 2 seeds throughout. You separate by enrollment, and it reduces it by a round. It takes the 32 team bracket and makes 2 16 team brackets.

Hands11, think of you district this year. The top 4 made the playoffs. The two top enrollment playoff teams go into one bracket and the smaller two go into a different bracket. You stilll crossbracket with the same districts, but it eliminates 1 round of playoffs and it lowers the enrollment discrepancy during the playoffs. I like it!

I know, but I'm just trying to understand this. So out of the teams that make the playoffs in 3a, the half that have largest enrollments play in one bracket and the half that has the lowest enrollments play in the other bracket?? Am i right there?

Depends. If you have the largest enrollment and finished higher than the second largest enrollment you would play a 2 from another district. If you finished lower than the 2nd highest enrollment in your district you would face a 1 from another district.

Top 4 of the district makes the playoffs. Then you look at the enrollment of the top 4 and make the split.
