They have to play somewhere. If it's what's best for everyone involved, bring em all to 3A.

Straight from the OFBCA: (check your email if you are a member)
Coaches,
There seems to be some confusion in the current proposal, so let me see if I can clarify some things.
This proposal basically takes us back to our previous set up.
Class 6A will have 32 teams - (2) 16 team divisions Class 5A will have 32 teams Class 4A will have 32 teams Class 3A will have 32 teams Class 2A will have 64 teams Class A will have the remaining 11 man playing football schools. Currently that number is 70.
We are in favor of this proposal because it eliminates the odd number of teams in 3A-A which has created a scheduling nightmare. This proposal will not have a direct effect on 6A-4A as their current number of teams will remain the same.
On another note, the OSSAA did vote to follow their by-laws and the two largest schools in class 5A will be bumped up to 6A to take the place of Capitol Hill and US Grant which have been granted an extension.
I hope this clears up some confusion. I'd like to encourage ALL of you to get involved in our association. We have great representation in the OFBCA, but it is only as strong as it's membership.
Once again, from the OFBCA Board, we are encouraging everyone to vote YES for this proposal. We feel like this is the best route to take for the entire membership.

The problem with anytime we talk about reclassification is that we all look out for ourselves. I am just as guilty at looking at how does it effect me. That is the problem we have and the reason we don't show a united front. Instead of looking at it as what is best for our sport in this state, we look at it as how does it effect me now. We will never accomplish anything with the OSSAA as long as we continue with this attitude.

The people that make the decisions...OSSAA and all the cats that make the proposals...will 6A still be split? I cant agree to having classes from 16 to 32 teams and then have a class with 64 and 70...

Problem is our association was allowed to come up with proposals, but a lot of stipulations were put on them by the OSSAA. So a lot of really good ideas were thrown out.

Got beat by them two years in a row in the second round. Been there, done that. As long as they're grouped in with the public schools, not much we can do other than find a way to win.

If the schools vote NO, then the OFBCA will lose a ton of credibility

Problem is our association was allowed to come up with proposals, but a lot of stipulations were put on them by the OSSAA. So a lot of really good ideas were thrown out. That is what people don't understand. Then when you add in that everyone is in it for themselves the OSSAA knows we won't unite, so they just keep playing us against ourselves.
