I'm inclined to think that most of Class A and 2A will vote no on this proposal. If this doesn't pass, don't expect to get any help/change from the OSSAA for years to come. Very true.

Guys...its all good...I couldn't make the winter clinic...I just have an opinion that differs from others...life will go on...also every small school coach I have spoke to says they are voting no...so we must know different people...lol I was there, maybe nobody that you've talked with was present at the OFBCA Winter Clinic when it was voted on

Just speaking from my experience, the 0 week made everything easier and the bye later on was great for getting healthy. Wouldn't want to lose the 0. Absolutely agree with this statement.

Frustrating that in one class you have to beat only 15 schools to win a state championship and 70 schools in another.

^^^exactly^^^
Both are "state champs" but different accomplishment in my opinion.

Again how do you fix the problem?? See this is the issues a lot of complaining but nothing of real substance to fix it. Then when a plan is introduced people automatically look at how it effects them only and not what is best for our sport. I really don't care what goes on with 6A, doesn't effect me. I do understand there is a larger discrepancy in numbers from the top of 6A to the bottom of 6A. And there is less so from the top of A and the bottom of A.

Wynnewood and Hominy would hammer the bottom of class A as bad as any top tier 4a, 5a, or 6a school would hammer a bottom feeder in their respective classes.

Agreed but ratios are ratios. 2:1 is 2:1 no matter how big or small the numbers get.

Yes Jenks and Union have dominated the class, but every year there is someone else that makes a run. It's still a great accomplishment.
You think Bixby doesn't feel a sense of accomplishment?
Trust me, I wish the playoffs were longer, but this is the system we've got.

I'm not taking a dig at anyone. Just giving my opinion. Not saying that Bixby shouldn't feel a sense of accomplishment, because they should. But to tell class A they should have to have 70 teams and class 2a they have to have 64 and then have two classes of 16, that doesn't make sense to me. But hey I can't complain or have an opinion on this one cause I couldn't make the winter clinic.

However, you are not offering any suggestions to rectify the situation.

Someone is always going to feel like they are getting screwed. Unfortunately.

Not many great solutions with the current parameters we must meet.

I am with Kenny on that one. I'm not trying to take digs at anyone. I don't think there are any good solutions with the OSSAA being the final say. There were a lot of really great proposals coaches put together in December. I read them all. I felt like this one was the worst option for classes A and 2A.
