I think they do a great job. Just saying. Except the football thing, but that was caused by the kickback for gambling situation, wasn't it? It's more how they do it. The arrogance. It's sickening. I think most of them have very little respect for the jobs we do.

Ask the small school Basketball coaches how they think they are doing. I don't give a dam about small school or big school Basketball coaches. So you can't make me. They are consistently inconsistent, which makes them easy to figure out. They don't bother me that much one way or another. Take for instance, track regions. There is always gonna be a really hard regional, and by comparison, a really hard one. I think they messed up by adding Mooreland to Sulpher's district, instead of sending them to Chisholm. That's one screwup out of 96 schools to be placed. Pretty dam good don't you think?

Starts with giving the playoff money back to the schools, if they would do that, I may change my opinion a little bit.

Its just money. Schools have tons of it these days, don't they? I'd say if people weren't so litigious, they may not need as much dough at the OSSAA.

I'm not taking a dig at anyone. Just giving my opinion. Not saying that Bixby shouldn't feel a sense of accomplishment, because they should. But to tell class A they should have to have 70 teams and class 2a they have to have 64 and then have two classes of 16, that doesn't make sense to me. But hey I can't complain or have an opinion on this one cause I couldn't make the winter clinic. I hate the 16 team classes. Hate it. But it's never changing back. Well at least 10 of the 16 don't make playoffs like here in Arkansas .

When have we ever received help from the OSSAA?!?!? Was it like the time that we went to the finals in 2012 and hosted 3 straight playoff games and the Association made $40,000 and we lost money traveling to the Semis and Stillwater? Help like that? Bottom line, Class A will go back to being a dumping ground. It's not a big deal, we are used to it. Just don't get your panties in a bunch when you hear people say they don't want to vote for it. Or the Guthrie debacle Or the Shawnee debacle Or the time they wouldn't help pay for our road trip from McAlester to Lawton Mac... Or the Douglas debacle twice Or how they don't even pay attention to the small school baseball crap

For a while it seemed it was either checotah or VinitA but never both

For a while it seemed it was either checotah or VinitA but never both We got one far West in Chisolm, usually one south central(this year in Sulpher, last year was Tishmingo), and the other 2 are Stroud and Okemah. Other site they have used out East is Konowa. Didn't Chelsea host before?

Problem with Regional sites is that a lot of schools don't want to host. It's a lot of work to host regional and state events.

Lots of hate on the OSSAA going on... But tell me, do any of you have a better solution? If they aren't running things, the State Dept. will be and we definitely don't want that. Way I see it, these are the cards we are dealt. Worry about the things we can control, and forget the rest. No use in complaining about everything.

So we should just tell the OSSAA thank you and take our medicine? BS

Better solution is to govern ourselves under the OFBCA
